We love that we work in a city so entrenched in tech that we have an awards ceremony dedicated to our top Twitterers, favorite memes and even the Best Medical Marijuana Dispensary Website. Seriously. (In case you’re wondering, it’s Sparc.)

This August, locals nominated their favorite websites, apps, and Internet celebs for the 2011 SF Weekly Web Awards where SFpark was fortunate to be included in the mix for “Most Useful App for San Franciscans” and “Best Local Government Website.” We didn’t win in the end, but we were voted as one of the three favorite government websites, right along SF Recreation and Parks and San Francisco 311 (which took the cake).
