
We thought the project name, formerly labeled “The Doyle Drive Replacement Project”, and identity, formerly orange, gray and helvetica, should reflect something grander, greener and more upbeat. So Presidio Parkway was born.

A kick-off event on October 17, 2009—the 30th anniversary of the Loma Prieta earthquake—the new name and identity were unveiled at an event featuring then-United States Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom.
